At Mulberry Surgery the ground floor is all level so accessible to all patients and a disabled access toilet is available. If services on the first floor need to be accessed by a patient with a physical disability, we do have a lift.
Parking
There are a limited number of parking spaces at the surgery including dedicated spaces for blue badge holders. There are bus stops near the surgery and there is an area to secure bicycles.

The Practice has been specially designed to make it easier for disabled patients to visit; patients also have access to a disabled toilet.
Important
Both incoming and outgoing calls to the surgery may be recorded for training and quality purposes. Please make it clear to the member of staff you are speaking to if you do not wish this to happen.
Opening Hours
Our core services are open from 8am till 6.30pm from Monday till Friday (excluding bank holidays).
We also offer some booked appointments for certain specific services during early evenings and on Saturdays. We will let you know if we are able to offer you options for appointments at these times when we speak with you.
You can access us during these times:
- Online: You can submit an online consultation request between 8am and 6.30pm from Monday till Friday (excluding bank holidays)
- Phone: Our phone lines are open from 8am till 6.30pm from Monday till Friday (excluding bank holidays). If you are phoning with a more routine query please call between 8am and 12.30pm or 1.30pm and 6.30pm
- In Person: You can also access our services and information in person at our sites – at St Marys Surgery, Telephone House Surgery, Mulberry Surgery & Victor Steet Surgery. If you are planning on visiting us to discuss a more routine query or request, please call in to one of our reception desks between 8.30am and 12.30pm or 1.30pm and 5.30pm
Out of Hours
Enhanced Access
Mulberry Surgery
We are pleased to be able to offer some surgeries outside of the above hours for those who find it difficult to attend for routine problems due to their working hours etc. These are on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm and Friday mornings from 7.30am. Please ask the receptionist if you would like more information.
Victor Street Surgery
We offer extended access from 7.30am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
